Just when you think a walk around Portland couldn’t get any more charming, you stumble upon a two-acre meadow full of goats!

It’s at SE Belmont and 10th, at the site of the old Monte Carlo building. Twenty-plus goats were goatin’ around and being ADORABLE. (And mowing the lawn, as a goat-rental service.) Read more here.
More pics after the jump.

Now tackle the East Ivy Problem all over the West Hills
G-g-g-g-goats!?
They were there last year, weren’t they? Or some place very close by.
I missed them last year and feel my life is now closer to complete b/c I got to admire them this year.
They are truly charming even if their irises freak me out. And that area is a little boring (although less than it used to be), so it’s a nice surprise when walking through…
Yep, they were totally there last year, but I missed ’em too! But you can, once again, go see the li’l chompers.
I have photos from last year, but my shots from this year aren’t up yet, as I still have Comic-Con photos to finish. I do have video, however.

They were there last year. There, staring you down with those unnerving eyes……
Baby goats, even.
I love them so hard.
best. thing. ever.
Yum fresh jerked goat.
They should park some in the center of Ladd’s Addition and a few other open spots every summer. But goats can get a little loud sometimes, so not too close to homes!
I drive by here every day and I have been wondering when someone at the Merc would make mention of it.
Oh yeah, those are the goats. I am so used to them by now I forgot that they are unusual. That adorable goat meadow is so last year SCOFF SCOFF PSHAW no they are cute though.
