To you beautiful Portland girls; you’ve got to stop with the cell phone action. All the text, twitter, and facebook updates are just sad.
We had a really good thing going on, but your incessant, obsessive, dependent connection to your digital life was a deal breaker.
I understand that your texts/status/connections are important to you. I respect that. But when we’re together it feels devaluating.
When the cell phone interrupted our meals, walks, games, mornings, and talks it became detrimental.
And I told you honestly how I felt. You understood, and promised to change.
You didn’t, and I called it quits.
Maybe I wasn’t that interesting. If so, well, that’s okay. But it did make me sad, as you cried, that you couldn’t just put the phone down and interact.
