Anyone who ever said that Portlanders are friendly and polite are completely delusional. Portlanders are some of the rudest, most inconsiderate, selfish, malevolent, and unaccountable people I’ve ever met. In my four years living in this region, I’ve come to discover that people from the Pacific Northwest are some of the worst, if not the worst people in the country. You are all incredibly self-centered and self-serving. I guess it’s because you must be incredibly insecure. It does take a lot of ego to be the coolest hipster yuppie in town, doesn’t it? And you can’t stand the thought that you might not be. You people have no true sense of community or kindness for your fellow humans. But you know, karma will ensure that you spend your next life and probably several next lives in some unbearable hell realm that will be the direct manifestation of your shitty behavior toward others.
