The Economist mapped out the 50 states compared to the foreign countries with their equivalent GDP.

Oregon is the unstable, steeply divided state of Pakistan. Mississippi, of course, is Bangladesh, wallowing in poverty and flood waters. Texas is Russia. Duh.

  2. I think that Bangladesh is not the part of Pakistan because Pakistan is not a country of floods. As for as I know India has major cities which are always drowned in water but this news is not spread around the world through media because of country being notorious. So I think that we can comparison Mississippi state to India not Pakistan.
