IT’S COMMON for touring comics to joke about the city they’re visiting, and at a festival like Bridgetown, that means audiences can expect a whole lot of riffing on Portland. In six years of attending the festival, we’ve heard it allโ€”and this year, with the help of Funny Over Everything producer Sean Jordan and former Mercury columnist Ian Karmel (Portland as Fuck), we’ve put together a Bridgetown Bingo card of popular Portland jokesโ€”so you can play along!

We’re giving away a dozen Voodoo Doughnuts and a copy of a new split comedy 7-inch by Karmel and Nathan Brannon, just released by Voodoo Doughnut Recordings. (Brannon and Karmel will celebrate the record release at the Doug Fir on Friday, May 9, 11 pm, $20.) All you gotta do to win: when you hear a joke about one of the topics below, write the name of the venue where you heard it in the corresponding box, take a picture of your completed card, and post it on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #BridgetownBingo.

We’ll pick a winner on Monday, May 12. Good luck!
