Between Road House: The Play and Hot Gun, Portland is rapidly approaching its saturation point with ironic musicals, but HOLY SHIT. Total Recall: The Musical is great and—dare I say it—oddly touching. Putting Douglas Quaid’s existential (extraterrestrial?) ennui to music? Brilliant. I demand a sequel immediately, preferably featuring a rock number by Kuato.

Thanks to Scott, Blogtown’s reliable and persistent source for all things Total Recall, for the tip.
