Look, the city made a public art app! To help you find all the public art! And the trailer is actually pretty funny! Especially the part with Bud Clark!

The app was developed with Matt Blair and the Regional Arts & Culture Council, to “showcase the rich and diverse collection of Public Art on display in and around Portland, Oregon,” and you can download it here, for free.

Alison Hallett served nobly as the Mercury's arts editor from 2008-2014. Her proud legacy lives on.

  1. iPhone only, of course. Drats. Here’s hoping the Android version isn’t too terribly far off. Though I noticed no mention of Android anywhere in the press release…
