I heard our writers say they were going to “ruin brunch for everyone” with this week’s issue by telling readers where all the secret line-less brunch spots were around town.
So, to play off of that idea I gave one of the most talented food photographers in Portland, David Reamer, some simple creative direction: KILL BRUNCH! After some brainstorming we had this awesome knife-stabbed-into-pancake-bleeding-cherry-syrup idea. It turned out pretty good, eh?
