On my bike ride home this afternoon I spotted three—I tell you, three—strategically placed bananas in the middle of the North Williams bike lane. Someone (most likely either Wario or Bowser) is doing their damndest to spin us all out of control…
But seriously folks, who painted these? And am I also going to have to look out for stray green shells?
Whew! As long as they stay off the Mississippi hill bike lane, I’m safe.
I noticed these too, and approve.
Strategically placed fake bananas in the bike lane > strategically placed broken bottles, as there were on Vancouver a few weeks back.
They were organic though, right?
There’s also one of those ‘speed strips’ from Mario Kart earlier on (forgive me if I mis-remember their name, and mis-spell Mario Kart)
I counted 4 bananas. I was just talking about this the other day–awesome!
I also noticed the speed strip! Ah, fond memories of SNES on my commute home.
A star and a mushroom appeared tonight amidst the bananas. Mario Kart is definitely in full effect on N Williams!
