The 22-year-old Portlander Tyler Brady, whose house I visited this week for In the Shadows, is still missing. On the 28th day of his disappearance, the police have released the last photos anyone has of Brady: surveillance camera footage from the Lloyd Center Safeway and a bar downtown.
Brady’s family, friends and the police are still looking for him and his bike, a black Schwinn fixed gear. Am I naive to hope they’ll find it anywhere but in the river?

i was with him downtown and left before he entered tube. our bikes were locked together with one lock. he left mine locked and rode home. thats the last time i saw my friend ty.
