Are you hungry and sorta broke? Well, a couple of Portland institutions have your back.

TODAY, Voodoo Doughnut is giving away one free mini bacon maple bar to anyone who drops by its three locations to celebrate its 15 years in business, as long as you can get to one between the hours of 2 and 4 pm.

But wait, that’s not all.

Escape From New York Pizza out on NW 23rd is also celebrating a birthday this year. It’s turning 35 and next month it’s giving away one free slice and one small drink to anyone who darkens its door. BUT NOT TODAY. That giveaway goes down on Monday, June 25, and lasts from 11:30 am to 11 pm. So mark your calendars.

And the New York-style pizzeria isn’t just thanking you for your patronage. It’s thanking its employees, too, which it’s rewarding with an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii this November. (Lucky ducks!)

Free donuts! Free pizza (and a drink to wash it down next month)! And if you’re lucky enough to work for an employer like EFNY, a free vacation!

Head on down to either of Voodoo’s three locations this afternoon and remember to hit up EFNY in about a month from now.

Oh, and share this article with your boss who, we believe, owes you a full-on vacation and not just this paid time off rigmarole.
