From Monday, August 13-Saturday August 18, at 50 of Portland’s most beloved restaurants, bars, and brew houses, you’ll find fantastic, one-of-a-kind burgers that exist ONLY for the Mercury’s Burger Week! That’d be great on it’s own, but it gets better: Each of those fantastic, one-of-a-kind burgers is only $5!

The Portland Mercury’s Burger Week is brought to you by the Mercury (natch), but we couldn’t do it without our burger-lovin’ pals at New Seasons Market, Jim Beam, Widmer Brothers Brewing, and Oregon’s Finest!

• Stay cool! The Mercury’s scientific research has revealed that Burger Week is the most popular event in the world! That means there are LINES, and lines mean you’ve got to be patient. It’ll be worth it, promise—and if a particularly popular burger sells out, you can always come back the next day, or track down one of the other 49 Burger Week burgers!
• Tip, cheapskate! Burger Week doesn’t just happen—it’s the result of months of hard work from chefs, wait staff, bartenders, and more who work crazy long hours make sure the week is as fun (and delicious) as it can be! Show ‘em some love!
• Drink (and eat) up. Yes, burgers are what make Burger Week… Burger Week. But you’ll be doing Burger Week wrong if you don’t take advantage of the other stuff that Burger Week’s choice locations have to offer, from beer to sides to salads!
