To counter Vancouver alt-right vlogger Joey Gibson’s planned “Free Speech Rally” featuring a keynote speaker who rose to internet fame for beating protestors with sticks, several antifa groups are leading opposing protests. Portland Children’s Museum (PCM)
Since 1946, PCM has provided a safe space for kids to explore and learn. They follow the ultra-progressive Reggio Emilia philosophy and their exhibits are designed with accessibility in mind. Families who receive public income-related assistance also qualify for $1 visits or $15 yearly memberships.
Opportunities: Youth and adults can assist with clay studio support, event decoration, and arts and crafts help.
