Andie Main, the host of Saturday’s PDX Comedy Mixtape!, announced via Facebook yesterday that Caitlin Weierhauser’s been added to the show. PDX Comedy Mixtape! already boasts a crowded bill to end all crowded bills, with Portland stand-up regulars Curtis Cook, Barbara Holm, Alex Falcone, Christian Ricketts, Nariko Ott, Veronica Heath, Jon Washington, Scoot Herring, and Dan Weber all signed on for sets, so I’m actually kind of surprised Weierhauser wasn’t in the lineup originally, but glad to see her name added to the list, because she always makes me laugh with her slightly unhinged jokes about astrology and the pitfalls of being approachable. You’ve probably heard plenty about this show by now, but it’s definitely the only comedy show in town that, like a courtesy call but way way better, will be recorded, while it unfolds, live, at Jackpot! Recording Studio. Attendees get a download of the show once it’s mastered and finished. And you thought that a bike shop basement was the weirdest place in town to see stand-up!
