A few comics told me the Woods’ first monthly showcase, Is That A Joke?, went swimmingly—the room worked and the audience was engaged and respectful. All this bodes quite well for this Sunday’s performance, headlined by the lovable Ron Funches, along with Jimmy Newstetter, Will Woodruff, Adam Dahl, and hosted by Jessie McCoy.
