Oni Press hosted a screening of Scott Pilgrim on Monday and it was pretty rad to hear the room cheer when Oni Publisher Joe Nozemack’s production credit appeared on screen, or when Bryan Lee O’Malley’s art was used in the film. Taking the dedication to the source material one step further, here’s a recreation of the trailer using art from the books:

I think there’s actually a crucial distinction in that I am not posting Scott Pilgrim videos as some sort of reverse trolling maneuver and I’m pretty sure Steve is.
I will probably have to see The Expendables first, but this looks like a good flick.
