If you haven’t seen any of Derek Waters’ “Drunk History” series, shame on you! And shame on ME for not telling you sooner! The concept is simple: Get someone super loaded on booze and have them describe a historical event. Then let comic actors such as John C. Reilly and Crispin Glover do the reenactments! Naturally, hilarity, knowledge, and vomit ensues. Here’s the latest edition of Drunk History, featuring the “King of Electricity” Nikola Tesla.

Want more Drunk History? YES, YOU DO! Check out this, and the rest here!

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

  1. Painful to watch for a Tesla fan. Tesla was lean, exceptionally strong, tall, and had amazing personal style. In the video, Reilly (portraying Tesla) is bloated and idiotic looking.

I liked that Edison was referred to as “an asshole” throughout the video. Edison really was a jerk of the science world.
