You don’t? Because Mitt Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom sure does:
At a Saturday forum hosted by the Washington Post, Fehrnstrom said that Obama’s auto industry rescue was successful because it was exactly what Romney himself proposed.
“[Romney’s] position on the bailout was exactly what President Obama followed,” Fehrnstrom said. “He said, ‘If you want to save the auto industry, just don’t write them a check. That will seal their doom. What they need to do is go through a managed bankruptcy process.’”
“Consider that the crown jewel,” Fehrnstrom said. “The only economic success that President Obama has had is because he followed Mitt Romney’s advice.”
It’s interesting that this fantasy-land that Romney’s creating—he would’ve killed Osama bin Laden and saved Detroit—weirdly looks a whole lot like the Obama presidency, doesn’t it?

President Obama is a hipster. He traded in the hard hat and lunch bucket category of the Democratic Party for the hipster fedora and a double skim latte.
@#1: what the hell does that even mean? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t in any way resemble what he’s traded the party in for, which is excessive militarism, executive lawlessness, and an invasive police state.
And Romney wouldn’t be any different.
Showstopper. You and your hipster obsession. It’s out of hand. It verges on paranoia.
It’s weird.
@cat and beard and showstopper – I complain about hipsters more than anyone, and Obama ain’t one of them.
Call me when obama decides to grow a ZZ Top beard and run people down with a skateboard…..
