I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.
Read the whole statement here. That’s a shame; he would’ve fucked up the Republican party in a delightfully crazy way. As it is, the race looks mighty lame after this weekend’s Huckabee announcement.

This is the third time he’s pretended to run for president just so he can get more attention heaped on himself than he already gets. Anybody who believes he was ever serious about running hasn’t been paying attention. He a narcissist, a self-aggrandizer, and he has a pathological need for attention.
