Do you give a shit about your community, state policies, or national politics? Then come to the Give a Shit Club, a new monthly happy hour sponsored by the Mercury and local youth politics group The Bus Project.
It’ll be an hour or two of meeting other young people who are involved in their communities, mixed in with two short presentations from people involved in good causes around town. The first Give a Shit Club kicks off next Tuesday at the Guild Public House with five minute presentations from former Q Center Director turned Kitzhaber appointments chief Kendall Clawson and Dill Pickle Club leader Marc Moscato. Also: We will be drinking and there will be free buttons.
