MUSIC—L7 has been around longer than most of you reading this preview. Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner formed the LA band in 1985, and now the punk ladies of L7 are on a reunion tour after a 14-year hiatus. The were a big deal when I was in high school, and influenced many of the riot grrrls of the ’90s. Take your parents and wear your flannels. SHELBY R. KING

MUSIC—Ahhhh, Vetiver. The medicinally named indie folk project from San Francisco singer/songwriter Andy Cabic is the aural equivalent of sitting inside under a pile of blankets on a cold, misty day. Tonight, Cabic plays Mississippi Studios, touring with a new album, Complete Strangers, a contemplative, precise gift of sonic catnip for indoor kids. Bring all the ambiverts you know! MEGAN BURBANK
