I’m pretty sure that a reference to Oso, Washington wasn’t what they had in mind when the owners of Oso Market + Bar opened up shop not so very long ago on NE Grand, but they’ve combined that coincidence with some good vibes anyway, for a fundraiser to benefit victims of the Washington town’s tragic landslide. To that end, they’ve rounded up some of their favorite Washington wines (from Charles Smith/K Vintners, Andrew Will Winery, Syncline Wine Cellars, Buty Winery, and COR Cellars, if that means anything to you), which they’ll be sampling out for a $15 tasting fee tomorrow evening, alongside a silent auction through which you can win specialty wines, Loop jewelry, Doug Fir show tickets, handyman services, a Bishops gift certificate, a weekend at the beach, and more. Pop in anytime between 6-10 pm tomorrow, try some lovely wine, win some lovely things, and feel good about indulging yourself for once.

  1. I feel just terrible about that landslide, but It’s pretty cool that there’s a whole town named after a Zeppelin album.
