Various businesses in the Pearl will be aiding the Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti tomorrow (Saturday the 16th) by donating part of their sales to the cause. Here’s a list of participating places:

Bishop’s Barbershop — $5 from every hair color service, including red (Pearl location only); cash donations collected on-site (all 7 locations)

Bubble Boutique — 5% of all sales (through Sunday, Jan. 17)

Cork Wine Shop — 50% of sales on red Viola Sangiovese on Saturday and Sunday (NW Location only)

Cupcake Jones — 100% of proceeds from the sale of red velvet cupcakes

BARISTA — 100% of tips for the day + company match

Imelda’s — 10% of all sales

Mabel & Zora — 5% of all sales

Pure 4 — 10% of all sales

Vault Martini Bar & Jinx Lounge — 100% of proceeds from the sale of their red specialty cocktail “7.0”

  4. So …. this Vault specialty red cocktail, the 7.0? Did it exist before this week, or is the name a play on this earthquake’s Richter scale? If it’s the latter — wow. Super tacky, even if some proceeds are going to the Red Cross.
