It’s hard to pick a Christmas movie to watch, a little easier to decide what to take in on Easter, but there’s no question what movie you have to watch on Groundhog Day. I’ll give you a hint: it rhymes with “drowned frogs tray”.

Fortunately, the good people at Clinton St Theater are showing the 1993 Bill Murray classic Groundhog Day tonight at 7pm ABSOLUTELY FREE. And it gets better/weirder/definitely better. There are free waffles. Do you hear what I’m saying? FREE WAFFLES. It’s like there’s a Bill Murray and waffles social safety net put together by a really weird governmental organization.

I’ll be doing some Groundhog Day trivia at the beginning and giving away some dope prizes and then we’ll all watch the movie on the big screen and eat free waffles. And we’ll yell at the screen a few times because that should really be a thing. You should come. Seriously, the waffles will be free. I don’t even know how that works.
