Portland’s own !mindparade will bring a kaleidoscope of rock sounds to the Holocene on January 27.

Whether enjoyed in a personal setting or with community, music is a medium that commiserates with us, consoles us, and uplifts us. To help spotlight and give back to the independent music scene, local nonprofit Music Portland just debuted the brand-new Portland Music Month. The festival has curated 120 concerts (217 acts!) over 31 days at 15 venues to pull Portlanders out of our mid-winter slump. Plus, $1 from each ticket goes to support individual music artists and their professional needs. If you’re feeling slightly overwhelmed at the slew of offerings, we’ve compiled some picks below, from local luminaries like Wonderly and Small Million to national acts like Circa Survive to Remi Wolf. As always, make sure to double-check with venues directly before heading out in case of any cancellations.
