Bowpicker Fish & Chips
Located on a converted gillnet boat, this fish and chips shop in Astoria has a cult following for a reason. The no-frills menu features nothing but whole or half orders of beer-battered albacore tuna, steak fries, and drinks, and it’s all executed perfectly, with locally caught fish and a light, crispy breading. Pair with tartar sauce and malt vinegar, and don’t forget to bring cash—cards are not accepted.
