Food cart pod in the works. And it looks huge!
It’s in the parking lot right beside Bearly Worn on SE Division and 50th. They’re doing construction on it now and advertising for food carts (I was hoping to take a picture of their banner, but the morning got away from me). It’s called A La Cart, with amenities like they provide at the N Mississippi pod. This along with that new pod on SE 48th and Division, the new Wholly Crepe cart by Los Gorditos, and the new country bar (Landmark Saloon) my neighborhood is shaping up right quick.

  2. This is all very exciting. Hopefully the new country bar doesn’t throw fits about bringing in cart food to their place. Or they could just throw a cart or two into their ginamorous patio area.

  3. 52nd and Foster next to the Devil’s Point would be another good spot, that lot is huge. There is one taco truck there now (check out their gorditos).

  6. My coworker came into the office the other day with a pretty slick flier about another food cart pod going into the parking lot on Belmont in between Slappy Cakes and Movie Madness. I’ll see if I can get him to scan it or walk down there in a bit and see if I can find one.
