Look at that insanely beautiful info-graphic:The fantastic title, worthy to grace the book jacket of a short story collection by any number of self-absorbed young fiction writers; the glowing cake, seemingly constructed by Frank Lloyd Wright; the strange blob-man with the sharp nose and unwavering eyes, his slight Mona Lisa grin implying that he is neither approving or dismissing the cake; his maze of intestines.
Is it even necessary to read the accompanying story? No. Now excuse me while I waste Mercury resources to print this in full color and hang it on my office wall.
I would just like to note that Aimee Bender’s The Peculiar Sadness of Lemon Cake was excellent.

In Mind Hacks and Wired, there is a picture by Quinn Norton showing the “brain porn area” the part of the brain that shuts of critical analysis when it sees a pretty picture of the brain.
