Once again a major company (this time it’s the makers of Klondike Bars) have asked their customers to make a commercial for them (which will save them hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a ton of work they don’t feel like doing). Yet once again they enforce ridiculous rules on the commercials such as “no inappropriate images or text, nudity, and acts of violence or acts that appear to cause harm.”

As you can probably imagine from the following entry in the “What Would You Do for a Klondike Bar Commercial Contest,” the creators of this ad were disqualified.

Bang bang, choo-choo train, let me see you shake that thang. Wm. Steven Humphrey is the editor-in-chief of the Portland Mercury and has held the job since 2000. (So don’t get any funny ideas.)

One reply on “What Would You Do for a Klondike Bar?”

  1. I heard that that guy who beheaded the guy on the Canadian Greyhound bus was rehearsing his “I’d behead some guy for a Klondike Bar.”
