In 100 years how will my generation be remembered?
My grandfather’s generation is remembered as having stopped Adolf Hitler’s mad conquest of Europe.
My father’s generation is remembered as having publicly exposed the hypocrisy that runs straight through the heart of American politics.
My generation? We’ve got NES games, bullshit mustache fashions and absolutely no idea if we’re still being ironic or not.
Conclusion: Joe Nicolosi’s “Mario” is our Woodstock (and our grandparents are absolutely right to hate us).
Your generation will be remembered as the people who spent so much time thinking video games were worthwhile that they end up knowing and caring so little about the world that they can’t even spell Adolf Hitler’s name correctly.
