(Disclaimer: There is not now, nor has there ever been any science anywhere near this post. At best, it’s an attempt to gauge the general opinion of Portland’s sexiest Internet folk. At worst, it’s a test to see how many of you want to play Altered Beast.)
Let me paint a scene for you.
You’ve met someone. A very special someone. Though you’d only gone out a few times you are already annoying your friends by talking about this person constantly. Their hair is awesome, they smell great, their taste in music is so obscure that you’re almost sure their favorite band is made up, and as far as you can tell they never poop.
In short, you are deeply smitten.
One night you get a phone call from this theoretical human incarnation of everything wonderful and sexy in the world asking you out for drinks, and the date goes wonderfully. You go back to this person’s apartment and the first thing you see when you step into the living room is a home entertainment center packed with gaming consoles representing the last few generations of technology. Next to the TV is a bookshelf with at least 30 games, and a box which you presume contains many more.

Ned I have that dream too. I hope you don’t wake up before the part where you get to have a 3sum with the room mate.
Anyone else notice that lately besides being beyond kinky, gamers have top shelf bars and good beers.
“Awesome. When we’re done in the bedroom we can play video games until you’re ready again.”
Actually finding some games I like really changed my perspective on this one. I can’t judge anyone else for playing Zelda if I’m stoked to play Limbo.
…that is my actual living room. and my hair IS awesome.
That’s hot. I’d love to get into a steamy 12-hour-long Civilization session. Mmmmmmm
STUDY: 41% OF PEOPLE ON INTERNET THINK GAMING IS TURN-ON
Too much of anything is a turn off. One time I went home with a girl and she had like, 12 buttplugs in her top drawer. I was like, dang dude, how many holes do you have? I would have been much happier with just one… er, um… two.
@haircut
that little pic of King Hippo suggests that the aforementioned scenario never occurred.
@Haircut: You’ve never heard of matching your buttplug with your shoes? No sense of fashion? And they’re not very expensive, they’re not encrusted with diamonds (most aren’t, anyway).
BTW, “Nex,” transgender individuals *are* either ladies or gentlemen (except for the jerks); I believe you were thinking of what’s usually referred to as “intergender” or “genderqueer” as an alternative to the two choices. Though I must admit I really don’t know what you were thinking.
It was an attempt at being all-inclusive, but I probably should have guessed that I’d miss a whole ton of the gender/chromosome/sexual identity nouns.
Sorry about that Todd. Henceforth everyone is called “meatbags” or “puny fleshlings.”
It’s not all that complicated, but, hey, that’s OK, don’t strain yourself.
