I understand guns are fun to some people, but if my XBox was routinely used to kill children, I’d be okay without my XBox.

Have other countries started calling us the “School Shooting States of America” yet?!

But if there were no guns, then how would men feel strong when they don’t feel strong?

Guns don’t reduce crime, cameras reduce crime. You aren’t not stealing an ATM because it has a gun in it. #guns #lies #videotape

I saw a few of these. I think Ian Karmel nailed it. There’s another one about finally being desensitized to school violence. And honestly, if Sandy Hook couldn’t get legislation through…
Ugh. Just. Ugh.
Not to take away from Boehner and the NRA’s most recent moment of glory but I thought it was interesting that Obama chose to compare guns to autos when autos kill more people than guns each year (33,687 cars v 31,672 guns in 2010 according to the CDC – http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/injury.htm.) Not a lot of outcry about limiting people’s (crazy or not) access to cars…
