NOTE TO I, ANONYMOUS SUBMITTERS! YOUR POINT ABOUT BICYCLISTS BEING COMPLETE THOUGHTLESS JERKS HAS BEEN MADE—TO AN INCREDIBLE DEGREE. THEREFORE IN ORDER TO KEEP THE I, ANONYMOUS BLOG FROM BECOMING MORE BORING THAN IT ALREADY IS, WE’RE ENACTING A TWO-MONTH MORATORIUM ON ALL BICYCLE RELATED POSTS, UNLESS YOU’RE BRINGING SOMETHING NEW TO THE GAME. THANK YOU! (Why am I yelling? I have no idea. Sorry.)—Editor
A Note from I, Anonymous Management!

Other things you might consider a moratorium on…Well, no. Everybody? Your thoughts?
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS
I’m pretty sure you have the power as “editor” to not have posted the 3 you did in the last 24hours.
That said- Thank You.
Dear Editor – I was walking through that intersection in SE on Clinton this morning and there was a bike, and they didn’t stop even though there was a stop sign there. They could have hit me. Ow. That would have hurt. I tried to post this on the Oregonian, but I put it here instead. Now my voice has been heard. I have lived in St. Johns all of my life and I’m voting for Romney. All of you make me sick.
Please just extend this moratorium to ALL traffic-related posts.
More posts about bad service in restaurants and bars, please.
Why do so many bicyclists feel they need to wear tights and the silly matching shirts? I can understand if they were in a race… is that the case? Because if they’re just trying to shave seconds off their commute, they’d save a lot of time just wearing their work clothes so they don’t have to change when they get there. And if they are just exercising, the wind resistance is only going to help. I don’t get it.
MORE MORATORIUMS
Lose the likes and dislikes immediately. Despite how it may seem sometimes, this ain’t Yahoo! Answers.
exactly what rich said…..
Ya, what Rich said. In addition to this NOT being Facebook, they’re distracting.
Thank you, Merc! Of this, i highly approve.
Hell yeah. It’s about time that I can dislike some of these moronic comments. All hail the dislike!
I doubt anyone cares what a tiny handful of anonymous likers like or dislikers dislike (why would they?). Of all the traffic that comes to this blog, I’m seeing only a few likes or dislikes on each comment. Could anything be more trivial?
I guess some folks want to have “input” without having to bother using their words.
And for what? The best commenters probably don’t need petty encouragement, and the worst ones won’t care if they’re disliked.
I approve of the new ‘like/dislike’ system. However, i wish that it would also tell me specifically WHO dislikes my comments/posts. That way at least, i’d know who to ad to my List.
anyone ever stop to think that this might not be the real ‘I, Anonymous Management!’?…..
(guess someone should submit another (legit & interesting, of course) bike-whine to lay this possibility to rest…..or not.)
Should be able to like or dislike the actual I,A post and not just the commenters posts.
The 16 people who disliked my last comment – you all can suck it!
So posting homophobic, sexist, and racist IA posts (and comments) are still fine on this site but no more bike rants for the next two months because the white, straight, male editor has to read too many annoying IA submissions from idiots ranting about bikes and the asshole is tired of it.
Am I understanding this correctly?
@18
It called a hint.
Whilst we’re at it, can the Merc implement a total PERMA-BAN on all *unregistered comments as well?
And Sped certainly has a very valid point. I feel that he/she deserves to be heard further.
Ha ha Cliffy, now the proof that everyone KNOWS you suck is right there! In yo face bitch!!!
