I own and work a janitorial/housekeeping company. We clean and maintain mostly airbnb’s (spare me, it’s making me money).
Of all the weird shit I’ve noticed, NOTHING compares to the gross fact that the newer guests will keep using the same mayonnaise left behind in the fridge by the previous guests. We’re talking 7 or more total strangers, crumbs and all, dipping back into the white well of a canola blend circle jerk. No caution of maybe someone leaving it out at room temperature, cross contamination, nothing. Folks; the rich Californians are here and they are gross as fuck!

The last couple guys added as much to the jar as they used, if you know what I mean and I think you do.
They aren’t eating it. And they’d appreciate if you’d do your job and remove the crumbs.
What kind of place are you running where you leave half used mayo in the fridge?
You appear to be suffering from a common misconception. There is enough vinegar in mayo that most bacteria will not grow. When you get sick at a picnic from the potato salad, it is not the mayo that makes you sick, its the potato. Potato and rice are the two foods that absolutely should not be left out for long periods of time.
Who cares if there are crumbs in the mayo? They are pickled crumbs!
