My guy and I went to a neighborhood pub Friday for happy hour. We each enjoyed some NW beer, some pizza, and salad. He even bought me a rose that afternoon, which was a sweet gesture and walking down the street with it earlier that afternoon made me feel like I was in some romantic comedy. That was, until ten minutes after we left the restaurant. I realized I looked like I had been stabbed in the ass. I was experiencing some extreme bleeding, and it had soaked through two supposedly protective barriers and three layers of clothing and had not realized that earlier while sitting down. I didn’t know what to do. Did I need to go back and notify the bartender? Call the bar and tell them about the biohazard? We discussed the problem. It was a busy night and someone else had probably already sat in my seat. I am profusely sorry if you were the person who sat in the booth after me. I hope you were not wearing right jeans. Note to self and to all: always look before sitting, even in a dimly lit bar or restaurant. 🙁
Apologize. Period.

You should restrict yourself to horror-themed bars like the Lovecraft when you’re on your period, at least the pools of blood will match the ambience.
There is a woman I work with who ruins at least three office chairs a year this way.
Even if they were wearing right jeans, they’re now wrong jeans.
I always look before sitting, and if I DON’T see period blood, I find another seat that does. Some of us prefer jeans that look lived in. Lived in by draculas.
Just go with the flow.
Put a cork in it.
