Native Portlander’s have the right to be pissed and we get bashed for letting off steam. Until you know how it feels, have some sympathy, because, we Portland natives are actually becoming hateful and territorial and we have the right to be pissed. You all have this arrogant attitude while you have affected a lot of people livelihood. Transplants will never know how it feels to have your little, big city invaded and yuppie’d up, by you arrogant pieces of shit! Crowding up our streets, creating more traffic, which Californians are used to, but we are not this is new and fucked up… Food prices inflated too when you got here. Restaurants are filled with carbon copies of pale, boring, bigots with all the “ism’s” that follow… What makes you feel good about taking over and criticizing others that liked to live simple and at best unique? If anyone had money in Portland no one ever knew it and rich portlanders gave back to the community, and supported local communities. We had genuine camaraderie around here. This was a friendly town turned now upside down for capitalism and commercialized over priced superficial bullshit. Suck a dick and die transplants!

  1. You’d better get an attitude adjustment, Anon, or you’re gonna be deported from your hometown (no longer known as “Little Beirut”…now it’s “San Portlando, Califoregon”).

  2. Keep the feeling alive I’Anon! That damn Old Navy commercial using the Portlandia characters pretty much sums up what has happened to Portland in a nutshell, BS TV show has over commercialized and crapped on our town until it was covered in transplant feces. Enough is enough!

  3. Yo, not all of us came from Cali, dawg. I came from Philly in ’09 by way of Seattle. I’m leaving. This town is played out. If I have to see another pair of Buddy Holly glasses coupled with a slim fit flannel I will puke. And beards?! The only dudes that still have beards are ugly guys that figured out they could hide their ugly faces and still get laid. I’m done. I’m done with ‘cool’. Onward! To Detroit! To Tacoma! To Minneapolis!
