Local Coffee shop who?
Local coffee shop Free Comedy Show hour that should have been held in someone’s living room instead because half of the jokes were inside jokes shared with half of the eight attendees who were all there to support each others’ acts.

Who’s there?
Coffee.
coffee who?
Coffee shop proprietor who told us we had the wrong time for the comedy hour even though googled it to verify. Instead of arguing and showing you the post after I just sat down down to drink the mediocre lukewarm chai.
Knock knock.

Nine who?
Nine year old comedienne who might be a reincarnation of Gilda Radner. That was some delivery. It was the best performance of the night.

  1. Knock knock.
    Who’s there?
    Two drink minimum.
    Two drink minimum who?
Two drink minimum that keeps the lights on because running a comedy club is a narcissistic fantasy circlejerk that should have died with the 1980s

  2. Maybe stop showing up at open mic nights. Consider making some shitty lattes at home and watching Comedy Central at the same time. Who exactly is twisting your arm to spend a night at the coffee shop to listen to terrible jokes? Rethink your life, I, Anon, and move on.
