After reading recent posts regarding perceived notions of greatness when it comes to animals, I thought I’d put things to rest. There shall be no other posts to be considered after mine, this is the final word. I call him SourPuss and he saved my life. He’s the sweetest baby cat (he’s really 7 years old, but he’ll always be my baby) with an attitude that is just so lovely. He’s funny too, strutting around my apartment high above Division like he owns the place. He’ll sit by the window and I just know he’s contemplating life and the love he has for me. We sleep together every night and wake up in each other’s arms every morning. Often times we’ll watch movies in bed as the day flies by. I love to cook him a good meal and eat with him at the table. Sometimes he’ll take a nibble off my plate and I’ll say, “SourPuss, now that’s mama’s food, not yours!” Hahahaha! But he doesn’t listen because he knows I don’t really mean it. I was a mess before I got him, but he inspired me to quit using drugs, go back to school and get a nice job. Can any of you other animal “lovers” say that? No. My SourPuss is the bestest beastest who came down from heaven. He’s an angel who taught me how to love unconditionally. He’s the only man I’ll ever need in my life. He is the love of my life, my savior, my friend… he’s my SourPuss. xoxox <3

definitely the only man you’ll ever have in your life
This is why Portland will always be the #1 city for cat-people. IN YOUR FACE, SEATTLE!
this is so sweet and pure and I love it
Just think how much joy you will get from your next sixteen cats.
Touching story from a touched individual.
Attention Transplants! In 1994 there was a major feral cat problem in Portland which led to the current situation we have here now with toxoplasmosis. And the accompanying parasitic worm situation as well as the neural deficiency syndrome afflicting your children.
I sat on sourpuss too
