When you’re in a wheelchair, all alone, with your dog, and at least one of your hands that you’re waving has stubs for all 4 fingers and your thumb, I give you utmost respect.
You drag yourself out there and are there every time I am waiting for the bus.
If you’re either going to work (begging for change), or waving good vibes and karma, you show up at a busy intersection coming off the 205 where we all know no one gives you time of day.
Hope you had a good day and have a happy life. I thank you for truly being disabled and earning every penny of it.
When I remember, I’ll come by with something nice.
Hopefully you’ll still be there, and alive.
