Your town is growing. You got more developers building homes and people coming in than you do companies creating jobs. Yet rather than rally to create jobs and compensate for raising rental prices you provoke your small minded mayoral candidates to bash companies over past industrial processes and build more homes for more people.

Like technology, industrial processing and it’s oversight is a relatively new and evolving thing. When speaking about companies who straightened up soon as they become conscious of their effect you should ask yourself, “did I even see this coming, or did I become conscious of it about the same time as they did?” If the answer is affirmative (and the majority of you can say you became aware of it in fact much later than those involved) then maybe take a step back from your little protest tree hugging group and now ask yourself if you are in fact in any position to protest being as you probably consumed much of their products.

but hey, have fun getting kicked out of the neighborhood your supposedly protecting- being as there will be no jobs for you to pay rent with.

  1. Thanks for your insightful new take on the ol’ Chamber of Commerce, “Don’t hold businesses responsible or they’ll lose money, you’ll lose your job, and the world will end.” If a business needs to spew poison to operate, then it is not beneficial to society, regardless of the jobs it might create.

  2. Go snort cadium. OP.

Your rant pretends to be about jobs, but it is really just another boring attack on existing residents who dare to push back against Charlie Hales and his developer fuckbuddies.

  3. Why the fuck would the average joe know anything about the shady underbelly of any major company’s doings, especially when said companies are legally required to examine what the effect their respective industries(often through independent agencies) have on the surrounding area, but are most likely in bed with any federally sanctioned scrutinizing eyes? None of us will ever see it coming because the right amount of money has been paid to the right agencies. Big Pharma is a prime example, but why prattle on? Don’t ever blame the victims for not seeing the enemy coming. That’s what they excel at, make no mistake.
