EBikes are a great addition to urban travel. The environmental benefits are great and, like PM mentions in the recent article, it’s had a positive impact on travel/mobility for many in our metro area.
But please, respect the fact that you’re on a MOTOR VEHICLE. Your stop time, lack of signaling and speed creates more risk for pedestrians and bicyclists. It’s also tough for larger motor vehicles to know what you’re doing.
So please, until our elected officials have time to develop a shared set of rules we all can abide by (rich people problems always come first…), follow the rules of the road that all motor vehicles follow.—Anonymous
