A radical proposal: what if dog owners had their dogs poop on parking strips and not peoples’ lawns?
I live in a neighborhood with houses with the privilege of lawn on both sides of the sidewalk. Yet dog owners let their dogs use my lawn as a toilet. Why do they do this? Are people just that lazy and selfish? Do they think other people are as numbed to the grossness of dog poop as them? Even if they pick up poop, it leaves a smear that makes a lawn unusable for kids. And dog pee isn’t great on our flowers, either. Is it too much to ask people to limit their canine fecal matter to not cover ALL vegetation in sight?—Anonymous
