I’m a life long metro dwelling Democrat, and things have been real busy lately. I’ll probably vote for Bernie because i think he has a cool and respectable way of handling conflict. And when I first got a blurry glimpse of what was happening with the rancher occupation on the opposite corner of the state, my first concern was it not become a Waco. It sure is an interesting and concerning situation that raises a lot of questions on gun issues and who’s in control. But for god’s sake enough with the left wing poop slinging. From my family members raunchy posts on facebook, to local hit maker’s erotic depictions of the cowboys, I find it all irrelevant, destructive and embarrassing. And I would feel that way toward any response from one group toward another, regardless of who’s side i’m on. Hell, as long as the Cowboys keep their manors, their cool, and stay in control with their guns… wouldn’t it be nice to invite them to the AT&T building, or the next mass eviction Portland apartment building?

OK. Life is so bleak in Harney county that it FEELS like subsistence living. They FEEL it. Don’t hate, cuz, because you don’t know. Some still out there have never been to Portland, Peace be upon them.
It doesn’t matter that ranchers and farmers account for over half the welfare doled out every year by the guv. They all get guvvy checks one way or another.

Oh Yeah the Bundy’s and their armed boy scouts are just peace loving folks that want to help the picked upon. My fellow metro dwelling Democrat, here’s the deal. The Bundy Bunch only want to help themselves. I’ve heard it said their families have to be supported by generous neighbors while they go out and save the country. They want a reality show. They are tearing up real estate and knocking down fences with illegally impounded heavy machinery. They are stalking and intimidating government wildlife employees homes and families. Their agenda is mayhem. If anybody is killed or harmed in a shoot out, they’ll shrug their shoulders and say “Wasn’t our fault, ’twas dat durned gubment”.
These guys ARE “bags of dicks” and I/A, let the liberals keep picking on them. They’re the only ones voicing a negative take on these dirtbags. It’s their 1st amendment right.
I like Bernie too. About the cowboys, I think the isolation for the people of Harney County is a good and bad thing. Living out there in the high desert, could be wonderful or horrible depending on who your talking too.
I think there must be a lot of dirty secrets on all sides. I just don’t trust either side.
