From now on, no tip for you. Any Uber/Lyft/GrubHub driver that cannot “find” my house, I will no longer tip you. Yes, I rely on these services. For food, I’m home, I’m not cooking, I don’t drive, I’m not spending two hours just to get food, so I use Grubhub. Sometimes I wake up late, hungover, or not feeling like the adventure, I’ll use Rideshare.
You idiots rely on your GPS, and you are dumb. Virtually 10 out of 10 drivers will speed past my house, have to U-Turn, or end up on the wrong street because that’s where the GPS takes you. It is quite simple. Say the address is 503808 Jeff street, and you’re already on Jeff street, YOU ARE IN THE CORRECT STREET! Pay attention to where you are at with the house numbers. And in Portland, it truly is not fucking hard. If you’re 60th street, that’s one clue. Numbers increase or decrease depending if you’re going East or West. There’s also a North or South, where if you’re dumb brain can memorize the major streets, you’ll learn which directions take you further north or south. And because we live in the NW, all odd number addresses are on the NW side of the street. I haven’t driven a car in 20 years, and I have been navigation than anyone driving for these services following the GPS. You idiots really shouldn’t be allowed a license.—Anonymous
