It was so good even my feeble lady brain enjoyed it.
Is Legolas in this?
Where’s the option for “The weather’s finally decent I was too busy enjoying it to watch TV and line the pockets of scumbags like Time-Warner and Xfuckity”?
Sure, it had an albino wolf and a starring role for a … man who was of below-average height, and some children of the snow-corn. But would it be too much to ask for a cameo from Oprah? It was good.
Did they really get an albino wolf or just paint a regular wolf white?
Where’s the option for “I didn’t watch it because I don’t have HBO. Also, I am not a nerd.” ?
I was feeling lukewarm to the TV series. Books are what I really want, preferably in the next decade.
Then I saw the series and turned into a sputtering, happy fanboy. I think I said “squee” for real at one point. I know it’s not super-great television, but I was reminded why I like A Song of Ice and Fire in the first place.
Methinks I’ll re-read the books instead of waiting weeks to see stuff that I already know happens. Not hating…just I have a vivid imagination and the first show, although cool, didn’t live up to what goes on in my mind. Now, if you’ll excuse me I have some thinkin’ to do. “Meow meow meow meow, meow meow meow meow, meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow”
