Fourteen businesses in north Portland received targeted, threatening messages last Thursday from a group calling for them to leave the neighborhood.
“You have been targeted by the juggalo family to get … out,” the notice reads. “Vacate or … our …”
…The notices were plastered on front doors and store fronts along N Williams St. and N. Shaver St.
KOIN 6, who led with this story at the top of last night’s newscast, suggests the flyers are connected to the retail gentrification in the neighborhood, which has led to increased property values and new businesses in the area. They then go on to define the word “Juggalo,” which is handy, but they do not give any hint what the redacted words on the flyer could be. “Vacate or ___ our ___.” The mind reels. Fold our laundry? File our taxes? Wax our Ferrari?
There has also been reports of an increase in car break-ins in the neighborhood, although police say they haven’t determined a connection to the flyers. It is theorized that none of the targeted businesses—many of which are bars and restaurants—currently offer Faygo on their menus, an oversight that, if rectified, could go a long way toward assuaging neighborhood relations.

Welcome to old school North Portland….
As if we needed any more proof that ‘juggalos’ are a bunch of idiot dumbfucks.
Juggalo: The term originated during a 1994 live performance by Insane Clown Posse. During the song “The Juggla”, Violent J addressed the audience as Juggalos, and the positive response resulted in Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope using the word thereafter to refer to themselves and their friends, family and fans, including other Psychopathic Records artists.
Thank you Wikipedia.
Miracles ARE everywhere
At least the note is spelled correctly…?
Most of the so-called Juggalos I’ve seen in and around NE Portland are too hefty to worry about. You can run from them fairly easily and I’m pretty sure they can’t do stairs. It’s like running from zombie Daleks.
Before all the trolls start talking smack you all should recognize that Juggalos are actually very class conscious…. The group hails from Detroit which has been the epicenter of urban plight for about 30 years. Detroit is now facing the same “urban renewal” projects which are the secret language of gentrification urban planners and city officials have been using all over the country to build on top of already existing poor, typically black communities. Juggalos are representative of those straggler poor white kids whose parents couldn’t move out of the hood when white flight was as popular as gentrification is now.
Maybe if they start serving Zima, the Juggalos will be appeased?
Gee, so I guess the die has been cast.
Fucking gentrification magnets, how do they work?
First, they came for the anti-Juggalos, and I did not speak up.
PS Ignore our nonsense.
Or we can band Faygo state wide, nuke the Juggalos and burn their idols.
It least somebody said something… I didn’t hear the Nation of Islam make a peep when they sold their homes
If the Juggalos end up doing anything to the businesses (like property damage) they will probably quickly feel the wrath of a govt desperate to label things domestic terrorism charges these days. Not like will do anything but some lame tags or something, since we are talking about Juggaloons after all.
You guys have been warned, 17 year olds dressed like clowns and drinking Mountain Dew are going to stop rising rents.
Seriously, these fat fucks can’t finish high school. Don’t lose any sleep over this.
I can help with the redacted text. I saw one of these signs taped to a store window when I was walking to work the other day. The full text was “You have been targeted by the Juggalo family to get the fuck out. Vacate or suck our dicks.” Quite an ultimatum!
It’s about time we bring back and support the historic Juggalo-owned businesses that used to flourish among the Juggalo community of N Williams.

That was awesome/bullshit
I’m just trying to figure out how there could be juggalos in that area. Hard to get my mind around.

That’s one way to get a date, I suppose …
So what happens if the businesses are perfectly fine with sucking Juggalo dicks?
Problem solved and everybody goes home happy?
Geez who let the Juggalo get close to the HP printer again?
The store on MLK and Failing sells Faygo by the way.
I wouldn’t have gone that far…but I can understand why they are upset
what in the juggalo is faygo?
Juggalo Island>Swan Island
—————————
I got my toes in the sand, watching hoes play volleyball
It’s summertime and I’m feeling jolly y’all
Food on the fire, boats in the water and
Taking time off from my serial slaughtering
Here for the weekend, me and these friends
Sunny sunshine, blue skies never end
There’s a mermaid waving me to come in
Underwater on my balls she’s humming
Smoking on a fat one, we come to have fun
I got my dick in your hotdog bun
Pouring off shots for everybody that’s sipping
Let’s get loose now, skinny dipping
Don’t hate me cuz the Speedo I’m wearing
Got your girlfriend staring, we out here
Skies so clear, ice cold beer
Suntan topless, bitch, come over here
On Juggalo Island
We can be one
Haha ha haha!
Let our nuts hang by the water
On Juggalo Island
We can have fun
Haha ha haha!
We can let go by the water
I’m just a Juggalo
And everywhere I go
People know the part I’m playing
Paid for every dance
Selling each romance
Oh, what they’re saying
There will come a day
When youth will pass away
What will they say about me
When the end comes I know
They’ll say “just a Juggalo”
As life goes on without me
Gentrifications… how do they work?
Benjamin Bentley: Faygo is a brand of soda enjoying widespread popularity in the midwest, and national popularity among juggaloes.
