8am to 9am, and I’m bound to say something stupid. Hopefully you’ll call in or tune in.

  1. Thanks, Matt. As you may know I’ve always prided myself on being able to exploit the “NOBODY CARES!” demographic to burgeon the popularity of my blog posts.

  2. No one cares? Interesting. I wonder if the small business I buy from who told me yesterday they were going to have to lay someone off because their taxes this year will go up $50,000 still cares? Nah, it’s old news.

  3. Good one, spartacus! Way to speak truth to power, heavy emphasis on “the truth.”

I totally talked to this guy today, too-a miniscule company who’ll have to lay off the entire workforce AND sell his children on the black market because measures 66/67 will increase his tax burden by 14 quintillion dollars.

    True story. Just like yours.

  4. @spartacus: While I sympathize with the small businesses that have $50M/year in revenue, (I really do, I work for one of them,) I know that they also benefit from a working police department, a working school system, and etc. Asking them to pay a little money now and then to support it doesn’t seem like too much to ask.

In any case, I happen to know some teachers that aren’t going to get laid off that don’t care about the fact these passed either.
