I’m a wee bit obsessed with The Rock Cookie Bottom’s Jonathan Mann. Mann writes a song a day and if you email him with a topic request, he might write a song for you!
I am totally going to ask him to write a song about himself because I’m all meta and shit like that.
Here is my favorite (for obvious reasons) of Mann’s songs. So far.

Dude also was invited on MSNBC! For back story/star-making trajectory, see http://www.portlandsentinel.com/?q=node/43…. (Centerpiece of the post is an endearing little ditty he wrote about “following your bliss, wherever it takes you.” *Swoon.*)
Full disclosure: I went to college with this guy, back when he was writing rock operas about nympholeprechauns and fascist unicorns (Bennington College, ca. 2002). I can safely say that everyone who saw him perform knew that he’d achieve fame and/or infamy in the very near future.
So great to see the multi-talented Mr. Mann get the national attention/fan obsession he deserves.
Oh, and Kiala…have you seen his ode to BSG? Get on that. Pronto.
I have seen it! It’s how I found out about him.
God, everyone who went to Bennington is brilliant. I wish I’d gone there.
BOOOO.
My sister went to Bennington. She is by no means brilliant.
Side note: Jonathan used to go by the nom de internet “gamejew.” Or maybe still does. Anyway, when I worked at Destructoid he was a good friend, and his old, more gaming-centric stuff is awesome.
Here’s the URL of the site he used to maintain with all of his older stuff: http://www.gamejew.com/
3.S, but I’d still ho her.
Nex, I was reading some interesting things about Jews on /b/. Is any of it true?
I’m impressed by this guys 365 project. A bit more ambitious than most.
@ Graham: Everything you read on /b/ is true. Always. Especially the warnings about AIDS in the pool.
That song stressed me out. To the max. Because as much as I’m all, LET THEM DIE. I still feel sad. And stressed.
Must exorcise that last bit of freelance writer guilt.
