Cut the sunny, happy crap tonight with the Grindhouse Film Festival’s latest infliction of horror: A super-rare 35mm print of the 1979 horror film Don’t Go In The House. It’s the tale of a charming young man whose even more charming mother raised him by using lit matches as a corrective to naughty behavior. Thusly, he grew into a flame-thrower-wielding psychopath who lures torture victims into his house/torture chamber. Bet you can guess what the moral of the story is: DON’T GO IN THE GODDAMN HOUSE. (Also, don’t burn your kids with lit matches.)
Don’t Go in The House screens at 7:30, preceded by bonus ’70s-era horror trailers!

Great disco scene in this movie. Good film if you like to watch people burning. See you there!
There were too many Avon ladies anyway.
