Here’s director Edgar Wright on the BBC, playing records and explaining “how certain music comes to be used in certain parts of films.” And talking, a bit about the upcoming Scott Pilgrim movie (squeal!)—he plays tracks from Metric and Broken Social Scene, both of whom have songs on that soundtrack. “Broken Social Scene is one of those big collective bands which basically makes up 75% of Canada. I think I’m even in Broken Social Scene.”

Did Wright explain how he’s going to get Cera to not act like a whiny little pansy for this role?
Scott Pilgrim always reminds me of that Big Audio Dynamite song from the 90’s. But I have really dubious taste in music.
